My common sense tells me that the likes of the Vodacom Bulls and the Stormers creates the most revenue seeing that they have the two highest average attendance figures over the past five years, but revenue created from tickets is only a small part of what finances a franchise. Sponsors, marketable brand name and huge loans from national banks obviously also contributes to the wealth of sides, so after taking all these things into consideration, here is my top 3 unofficial richest sides in Super Rugby: 1)Vodacom Bulls - has bagged the profits of 3 sold out semi finals and 2 finals over the past five years, along with annual sold out games when the Bulls host either the Sharks or the Stormers. This boasts nicely when one takes into consideration that the average ticket for Loftus costs about $30 at a 52 000 capacity and the vast majority feeling like at least two bears and one hot dog, it's a pay day of note. Apart from revenue created on match day, the Bulls are probably the most marketable franchise in South Africa, with at least one Bulls jersey per household in Pretoria, a vastly populated part of South Africa. 2)Stormers - bound to over take the Bulls if they could only manage some silver wear from somewhere. 3)Crusaders - Probably the side that creates the most revenue outside of there own country.
