Few things while reading through the questions and answers: 1. The Kiwi's, based on history, are by FAR the best Rugby Union. Again, based on history and stats, South Africa takes second place. 2. Bulls vs Stormers, was tactical. Period. Resting the first XV before the Semi's and giving the Bulls' depth some good opposition before the Currie Cup. Real champs make their own luck. Ask the Crusaders. The CC is huge in the Republic. It's the oldest provincial competition in the world. Other countries, not gonna mention names, don't even have a decent provincial competition like the CC or ANZ. They have no idea what they are talking about. People already think they are biased, hypocrites and an insult to the academic side of Rugby, now they go public and prove it. A point which needs to be understood is that South African teams hate each others guts. Last year more that 2 thirds of the Cheetah supporters cheered for the Chiefs in the Super14 finals. I would any day, prefer a loss to the 'Thas or 'Saders with a second XV than against a bitter rival. This weekend was a bitter pill. 3. Best sporting nation: HAS to be the USA. No doubt. Not even worth debating. Just because my favourite sport codes are having a good run, hardly qualifies my country as the best sporting nation.
