Barbarians team: 15 Isaia Toeva, 14 Sam Tomkins, 13 Robbie Fruean, 12 Stirling Mortlock, 11 Bryan Habana, 10 Danny Cipriani, 9 Peter Stringer, 8 Adam Thomson, 7 Mauro Bergamasco, 6 Jerome Kaino, 5 Victor Matfield (captain), 4 Simon Shaw, 3 Sylvain Marconnet, 2 Keven Mealamu, 1 Eusebio Guinazu. Replacements: 16 Adriaan Strauss, 17 Salvatore Perugini, 18 Jason White, 19 Marco Bortolami, 20 Nemia Kenatale, 21 Richard Kahui, 22 Seru Rabeni. Its a very good team, but there are a lot of players i would have expected in there, which are not. Its a shame Schalk Burger of Namibia didnt get in there, he was outstanding during the Rugby World Cup. Its interesting to see that Jamie Roberts isnt in, he pretty much stole the show in New Zealand. The likes of Manu Tuilagi, Isreal Dagg, Sam Warburton, Patrick Lambie, Danny Russow (not sure if he is injured or not though, havent checked up) all people who i would have expected in there. This is going to be a make or break game for Danny Cipriani, has to make up for the appalling off field behavior and bad tackling of his, hopefully he steps up his game (still a player that i will never fully like though). However its great that they are keeping up their non-capped player tradition, dont know much about the two however, didnt watch much crusaders during super rugby, more SA and AUS, but sure Henry knows what he is doing. Awesome to see that Simon Shaw is in there and Victor Matfield. Although i feel like Shaw is getting a wee bit old. Would have chosen someone else for hooker, but Mealamu is class.
