I was watching the news last night and who is probably the greatest Rugby League player in history (Andrew Johns), has come out and said he was taking Ecstasy all through his career, which obviously did not do any harm to his performance and also it helped with his bouts of Depression. So, now I am thinking that he is living proof that the anti-drug crusaders are either telling lies about Ecstasy or their research is flawed in a major way because Andrew Johns appears to be living proof that they are wrong. If he can be the greatest at his sport while popping Ecstasy tablets, then what else can I think that can counter that impression? I'm thinking about taking Ecstasy myself for my depression and before I go out to play any active sports. What can I say to my children if they pose the same questions to me and give the same reasoning for taking drugs in general? Is this a muddled way of thinking? Why?... Read More »
